A Star for Timothy (8.5 × 6 in) (1).jpg

CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW

Timothy Ray Brown, aka "The Berlin Patient" was the first person cured of HIV. He became an ambassador of hope for HIV cure research--selflessly dedicating his life to promoting awareness of, and support for, HIV cure research and funding. Sadly, Timothy succumbed to cancer in 2020, but we'd like to honor his legacy in the city that he made his home by placing a sidewalk star on Palm Springs' Walk of the Stars. This Campaign has a goal of raising $15,000 to cover the cost of creating and installing the stalling the star.
